In this lesson we explore the fall of Babylon the Great. The symbol would have been easily recognized by first century Christians as representing apostate Jerusalem. The corrupt temple magistrates rejected their Messiah and engaged in an orchestrated endeavor to rid itself and the world of Christianity by colluding with Roman to do their dirty work. They shed the blood of Jesus, prophets and Apostles and now God was giving them blood to drink in the destruction of their Temple and City.
